I Feel It
I feel it all around me
your touch… your radiance… your light
beckoning me to come closer
a ray of sunshine
bursting into my life of darkness
filling me up with gladness
crashing down upon my madness
wiping away all the sadness
I feel it all around me
like a laughter deep down within my soul
coming up and coming out loud
no more echos of screams and shouts
your joy has filled my heart
mended the parts that were broken
all my fears have been put to rest
and all my tears run out
happiness has taken over instead
I feel it all around
when I’m with you and no one else
my soul lifting to the sky
flying among the clouds with ease
you put my mind at peace
you take the time to explore me
there’s no doubt you adore me
I feel it all around me
a shower of love all over me
poured out in the day and the night
you’ve got me drenched in ecstasy
wet from your touch
you get into me
I feel it all around me
in all the things you do
and all the things you say
your best laid before me
you drew me in
made me new again
made me love again
made me apart of you
the light
